How do I earn points?

You earn points for the amount of time you spend exercising at recreation and wellness facilities on campus. Just enter a facility and you’re automatically checked-in to Plyo based on your location. You don’t even need to take your phone out of your pocket to start earning points; just make sure your location services are set to “always allow.”

The app won’t check me in to my workout. What do I do?

Make sure you’re at the recreation and wellness facility and location services are properly setup.

For iOS: Head to your iPhone’s Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Plyo and select “Always.”

For Android: Head to Settings > Apps > Plyo > Permissions and toggle “Location” on.

If that doesn’t work, please sign out and sign back into the app.

How many points do I earn per hour?

You earn 50 points per hour of exercise, or 100 points per hour if you add a friend to your workout.

How do I redeem my points?

Just choose the reward you want to redeem, show your phone to the cashier, and the cashier will select “TAP TO REDEEM.” Make sure you’re at the point of purchase and hand your phone to the cashier, because the reward will redeem immediately.

If the reward is for a retailer, you will be given a promotional code and will have 24 hours to redeem the code online or in store.

Why does Plyo require location services?

The reason we require location services to be set to “Always Allow” is so you can be checked-in to (and out of) the university recreation & wellness facility without having to open the app or leave it open. It’s our goal to make it easy for you to focus on being active while the points rack up automatically.

Data privacy is very important to us, which is why we do not store data related to your location beyond the time you enter or exit an affiliated gym. This information is not shared outside of Plyo.

How do Raffles work?

You can enter raffles as many times as you’d like. 1 redemption = 1 entry. Winners are chosen on the date listed within the reward, and are notified via email. If you don’t receive an email on the date of the raffle drawing, you were not selected as a winner.
